El Nórdico/The Nordic Guy

Me da pena. No se lo merece. Es una buena persona.
Lo mismo con el fotógrafo. No lo vi más.
..
This story isn't very exciting. It's just funny to me because of the nickname a friend gave the guy. It happened like this:
I accepted to go on my first blind date with a friend of a friend in Plaza Serrano.
The only thing I knew about him was that he had an exaggerated yankee appearance and that was all I needed. His head hovered above all of the little latin guys, super white skin, super blonde hair. I went to say hi and when he turned, he displayed his good guy, hansel and gretel face, blue eyes, rosy cheeks.
Telling this to a friend she said, I know this type of guy, they're called "BUTTERFACE."
And it was true! but it wasn't that bad. I liked how tall he is, and his broad shoulders, and how he dresses. You could tell some of the Argentine style rubbed off on him, he wasn't wearing the dorky clothes a lot of the Americans wear.
We ate frozen yoghurt sitting in the park benches, talked and people watched. He works in a think tank and is studying to get a doctorate degree. Then we went to a bar and talked some more until we finished out wine.
He's nice and smart so I went out with him a couple more times. But I was simply not attracted to him at all.
The last time I saw him was in Las Heras park. We laid on the grass watching people jump around in those ropes they tie to the trees. I was telling him that I was kind of rebelious when I was younger and he said, I should be more of a rebel, and leaned to kiss me. I said why not, and let him. And, poor butterface, it was the worst kiss. There wasn't even the shadow of a spark. I got up a second after and said I had to go. He walked me and, poor thing, grabbed my hand.
He texted me to see me a again a few times but I said no. I feel bad. He doesn't deserve it. He's a good guy.
Same with the photographer. Never saw him again.
